Everton Completes Signing of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Chelsea in £29m Deal

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is set to complete a permanent move from Chelsea to Everton in a deal worth £25 million, with an additional £4 million in performance-related add-ons. The midfielder is expected to undergo a medical soon, with an official announcement anticipated shortly.

The 26-year-old only joined Chelsea from Leicester City in July 2024 for around £30 million but has struggled for regular first-team opportunities, making just two Premier League starts. While he featured more in cup competitions, including the UEFA Europa Conference League and FIFA Club World Cup, he failed to secure a consistent place in the squad.

Everton manager David Moyes views Dewsbury-Hall as a key addition to his midfield options following recent departures. The player’s energy, passing range, and ability to contribute both defensively and in attack are expected to complement the existing midfield lineup, which includes James Garner, Carlos Alcaraz, and Idrissa Gueye.
