Paris Jackson, the 27-year-old singer, actress, and daughter of the late Michael Jackson, has officially ended her engagement to music producer Justin Long. The couple, who began dating in 2022 and got engaged in December 2024, have reportedly called off both their wedding plans and their relationship

On July 31, Paris addressed recent paparazzi images on X, formerly Twitter, writing, “Those are breakup tears,” confirming speculation that her tears were related to the end of the relationship and not the anniversary of her father’s death.

The couple had been actively preparing for a December wedding. Paris had spoken about selecting a venue, designing a custom dress, and even using astrology to choose a date. She had expressed her excitement over the spiritual elements of the planning process during an interview earlier in the summer. Following the breakup, she removed photos of Justin from her social media.

Paris and Justin reportedly met backstage at The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in 2022, where their connection began during a sound check. Justin, a sound engineer and producer, gained her trust in that moment, which led to their relationship. Earlier this year, Paris marked five years of sobriety and has been touring with Incubus and Manchester Orchestra.
