Barcelona secured a 2–1 victory over Real Sociedad today at the Montjuïc Olympic Stadium, moving back to the top of the La Liga table. The win underlined their resilience as they battled back from behind to claim all three points.
The visitors struck first in the 31st minute when Álvaro Odriozola tapped in from close range to give Real Sociedad the lead. Barcelona, however, responded quickly before halftime. Marcus Rashford’s well-delivered corner was met by Jules Koundé, who powered home a header to restore parity.

After the break, Barcelona pushed forward and controlled much of the possession, but Real Sociedad’s defence and goalkeeper Álex Remiro stood firm. The breakthrough came following a key substitution as Lamine Yamal came off the bench and immediately delivered a pinpoint cross. Robert Lewandowski converted the chance to put Barcelona ahead.

Sociedad pressed hard in the closing stages, with Take Kubo hitting the crossbar, but Barcelona held their ground. The result extended their unbeaten run this season and provided a crucial boost in their pursuit of the La Liga title.
