🇫🇷 PSG Dominate Atalanta in Champions League Opener
Paris Saint-Germain kicked off their UEFA Champions League campaign in emphatic fashion with a commanding 4-0 victory over Italian side Atalanta at the Parc des Princes on September 17, 2025.
From the opening whistle, PSG asserted control, with Marquinhos opening the scoring in just the 3rd minute. The French giants doubled their lead before halftime thanks to a stunning strike from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
In the second half, Nuno Mendes added a third with a powerful finish in the 51st minute, and Gonçalo Ramos sealed the win in stoppage time, capping off a dominant performance.
PSG enjoyed 65% possession and limited Atalanta’s attacking opportunities, with goalkeeper Chevalier making key saves to preserve the clean sheet. Atalanta struggled to find rhythm, managing only a handful of chances and failing to convert under pressure.
