PSG Bounce Back in Style with Confident 2–0 Victory Over Auxerre

Paris Saint-Germain returned to winning ways with a composed 2–0 victory over Auxerre at the Parc des Princes. The performance offered a timely response after their first league defeat of the season earlier in the week.

Illia Zabarnyi broke the deadlock in the 32nd minute, finishing a well-placed cross from Vitinha with a controlled volley. The hosts continued to dominate possession and pressed for a second goal, keeping Auxerre pinned in their own half.

Early in the second half, Lucas Beraldo extended the lead with a precise header from Senny Mayulu’s delivery. The goal effectively sealed the result and allowed PSG to control the tempo for the remainder of the match.

However, the victory was not without concern. Vitinha and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia were both forced off with injuries, raising questions about their availability ahead of PSG’s next Champions League outing.
