Nollywood actress and entrepreneur Regina Daniels has ignited a wave of online reactions following the release of a personal video featuring her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko. The clip, shared via her Instagram account, captured an early morning moment between the couple that many deemed too intimate for public consumption.
The video begins with Nwoko lying in bed beside their child before transitioning to a scene in the bathroom, where he is seen preparing to urinate while Daniels brushes her teeth nearby. To maintain a degree of privacy, Daniels added the word “MINE” to obscure part of his body. However, the inclusion of a controversial TikTok soundtrack—with lyrics describing a husband as “useless” and “yeye man must die”—fueled criticism from fans and observers.
In her caption, Daniels admitted the video was intended to “piss off” her husband, referring to him playfully as “oga at the top.” She later defended her actions, stating that she was simply participating in a trending challenge and embracing her role as a content creator. “It’s the audacity to think your opinion matters in my life when mine cannot matter in your life,” she wrote in response to critics.
Senator Nwoko responded lightheartedly in the comment section, calling out his wife with a humorous remark: “This wife of my old as I call her self. Come here!” Daniels quickly replied, “Ha! He commented! Sorry, babe”.
