Chelsea secured a thrilling 4-3 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the EFL Cup last night. The match saw a total of seven goals, with Chelsea's Jamie Gittens scoring the winner in the 89th minute.

The Blues dominated the early stages, with goals from Andrey Santos in the 5th minute, Tyrique George in the 15th minute, and Estevão in the 41st minute, giving them a 3-0 lead at halftime.

Wolves mounted a comeback in the second half, with Tolu Arokodare scoring in the 48th minute and David Moller Wolfe netting two goals in the 73rd and 90+1 minutes. However, Chelsea held on despite being reduced to 10 men after Liam Delap's red card in the 86th minute.

The win books Chelsea's spot in the quarter-finals of the EFL Cup where they face Cardiff.
