Kylian Mbappé found the net early in the 12th minute, but the goal was ruled out for offside after a VAR review. He struck again in the 22nd minute, this time with a clean finish that gave Real Madrid the lead.
Barcelona responded swiftly in the 39th minute when Fermín López leveled the score with a well-placed shot past Courtois. Just before halftime, Jude Bellingham restored Madrid’s advantage with a powerful strike in the 43rd minute.
The second half saw Real Madrid maintain their lead through disciplined defending, despite Barcelona enjoying slightly more possession.
Dani Carvajal and Dean Huijsen made key defensive contributions to hold off the Catalan side’s attacks. Referee César Soto Grado managed the match firmly, issuing several yellow cards and keeping control during tense exchanges.
The win ended Real Madrid’s four-match losing streak in El Clásico fixtures and strengthened their position at the top of the La Liga table. Barcelona, meanwhile, faces renewed pressure to bounce back in upcoming matches.
