Fernández’s Knee Injury Forces Withdrawal from Argentina National Team

Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández has withdrawn from the Argentina national team squad due to a knee injury. The Argentine Football Association confirmed that Fernández is suffering from synovitis in his right knee, which has forced him to pull out of the team’s upcoming fixtures.

The midfielder featured for most of Argentina’s recent 1–0 friendly win over Venezuela, playing about 78 minutes before being substituted. His withdrawal means he will miss the friendly match against Puerto Rico.

At club level, Fernández has been a key figure for Chelsea this season, contributing three Premier League goals so far. Both Chelsea’s medical staff and Argentina’s doctors are expected to monitor his condition closely as he continues his recovery.
