Galatasaray took a cheeky dig at Liverpool following their UEFA Champions League clash on Tuesday night, posting a pointed message on social media that read:  

"You'll never walk alone, but sometimes you walk out without points 🤷‍♂️ #UCL"

The jab came after Galatasaray secured a hard-fought 1–0 victory over the Premier League giants at Rams Park in Istanbul. Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen was the hero of the night, converting a 16th-minute penalty after Dominik Szoboszlai was penalized for a foul on Baris Alper Yilmaz.

Despite dominating possession and creating several clear-cut chances, Liverpool failed to find the back of the net. Cody Gakpo saw an effort cleared off the line moments before Osimhen’s decisive strike, while Hugo Ekitike and Ibrahima Konaté both missed opportunities to equalize. Injuries to goalkeeper Alisson Becker and Ekitike compounded a frustrating evening for manager Arne Slot’s side.
