Juventus Football Club has informed Igor Tudor this morning of the decision to terminate his tenure as Head Coach of the first team. The move follows a damaging run of results which has left the club struggling in the domestic league.
Massimo Brambilla, the current manager of Juventus Next Gen, will take over as the interim coach while the club's board conducts a search for a permanent successor.
The dismissal comes in the wake of a narrow defeat over the weekend. In their Serie A match on Sunday, Juventus lost 1-0 away to S.S. Lazio, with the only goal scored by Toma Bašić in the ninth minute. This result extended the team's winless streak to eight matches in all competitions.
Following the latest defeat, Juventus currently occupies the 8th position in the Serie A table.
