Juventus delivered a much-needed boost to their morale by defeating Udinese 3–1 in Serie A, putting an end to their eight-match winless streak. The match took place under the guidance of interim coach Massimo Brambilla, following the club’s decision to dismiss Igor Tudor earlier in the week.
Dusan Vlahović opened the scoring after winning and converting a penalty in the first half. Federico Gatti added the second with a powerful header, while Kenan Yildiz sealed the victory by earning and converting another spot kick in stoppage time.
With the win, Juventus climbed to sixth place in the Serie A standings, six points behind leaders Napoli and Roma. The club has also confirmed that former Napoli and Italy manager Luciano Spalletti is expected to be appointed as their new head coach soon.
