Kylian Mbappé Shares Emotional Moment with Father While Receiving European Golden Boot

Kylian Mbappé brought his father, Wilfrid Mbappé, onto the stage during the presentation ceremony of the 2024–25 European Golden Boot at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

The Real Madrid forward, who netted 31 goals in La Liga during his debut season with the Spanish giants, claimed the prestigious award given annually to Europe’s top league goal scorer under the weighted points system.

The event was attended by Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez, head coach Xabi Alonso, and representatives from European Sports Media (ESM), the organisation responsible for presenting the trophy.

Expressing his delight, Kylian Mbappé said: “It’s a pleasure for me to win the Golden Boot. It means a lot as a forward. I want to thank my teammates — we are an incredible group. I hope we will win many important trophies together and that I will be here for many years.”
