Leão Double Lifts AC Milan to Victory Over Fiorentina

AC Milan came out on top in their latest Serie A fixture, edging Fiorentina 2–1 in a tightly contested match at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium. The first half saw both teams locked in a tactical battle, with neither side able to break the deadlock.

The momentum shifted in the second half when Robin Gosens put Fiorentina ahead in the 55th minute. Milan responded swiftly, with Rafael Leão leveling the score just seven minutes later. Leão then stepped up again in the 86th minute, converting a penalty to give Milan the lead and ultimately secure the win.

Discipline was a factor throughout the match, with several players receiving yellow cards. Milan’s Fikayo Tomori, Youssouf Fofana, and Zachary Athekame were booked, while Fiorentina’s Fabiano Parisi, Luca Ranieri, and Hans Nicolussi Caviglia also saw yellow.

Milan controlled 56% of possession and improved their league record to five wins and one loss. The result keeps them firmly in the race at the top of the Serie A standings
