The goals that sealed the win came courtesy of a brace from defender Micky van de Ven and a late strike from Pape Matar Sarr.
Van de Ven opened the scoring midway through the first half with a powerful header, before doubling the lead just before the interval, capitalizing on two set-piece opportunities. Everton had an equalizer disallowed by VAR between those two goals. Midfielder Pape Matar Sarr then put the result beyond doubt in the closing minutes of the game with a clinical header, securing an impressive away win for Thomas Frank's side
