The goalkeeper had initially filed for divorce last July at a state high court in Lokoja after admitting to an extramarital affair. Their nine-year marriage, which produced two sons, had attracted public attention following his admission and the subsequent legal process.
On October 21, the case was struck out after Ojo filed a formal motion requesting that the lawsuit be treated as though it had never been filed, indicating that both parties had reached a mutual agreement to settle the matter outside the court.
During the proceedings, Tosin Ojo made an emotional plea, expressing her desire to preserve their family for the sake of their children and avoid a broken home.
Their reconciliation coincided with Tosin’s reinstatement as the team manager of Confluence Queens ahead of the 2025-26 league season in Kogi State—a development confirmed by the state’s Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Monday Anyebe.
With the case officially withdrawn and both parties reaffirming their commitment, the couple now intends to rebuild their marriage away from public scrutiny.
