Former child star Amanda Bynes has categorically refuted allegations circulating in a now-deleted TikTok video, which falsely claimed she was impregnated by Dan Schneider, the longtime Nickelodeon executive producer, when she was just 13 years old.

The video, posted by a fan account dedicated to Bynes updates (@amandabynesupdates), spliced together unrelated clips from her recent social media activity and archival footage to fabricate the sensational narrative. It opened with a brief excerpt from one of Bynes' Instagram Stories, where she appeared to be speaking at a restaurant table. Overlaid text read: "The man I got pregnant with him [sic] at the age of 13! 😭." The clip then abruptly transitioned to a resurfaced segment from *The Amanda Show* (1999–2002), featuring a teenage Bynes in a bikini during the recurring "Amanda's Jacuzzi" sketch, seated alongside a fully clothed Schneider in a hot tub prop.

Bynes, now 39, addressed the rumor directly in an interview with TMZ, describing the video as a malicious edit designed for "clickbait." She clarified that the initial snippet was manipulated from a personal reel in which she turned the camera toward her boyfriend—content that was omitted to misleadingly imply a reference to Schneider. "It's all lies," Bynes stated, emphasizing that the account responsible does not represent her and that she has no connection to the post.

The controversy echoes broader scrutiny of Schneider's tenure at Nickelodeon, highlighted in the 2024 Investigation Discovery docuseries *Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV*. The series featured testimonies from former cast and crew members alleging a toxic work environment, including inappropriate behavior toward young actors. Schneider, 59, who helmed iconic shows such as *All That*, *The Amanda Show*, *Drake & Josh*, and *iCarly*, has denied any sexual misconduct. He issued a public apology in March 2024 for his "inappropriate" actions but filed a defamation lawsuit against the docuseries' producers, arguing it falsely portrayed him as a predator.

Bynes, who rose to fame as a Nickelodeon staple in the late 1990s and early 2000s before stepping away from acting in 2010, has largely avoided commenting on these revelations. In a rare 2024 statement shared via Instagram, she defended Schneider, writing: "Though Dan provided an ample amount of towels, so we could sit and have fun... it is still a hard place to be a kid and nobody knew that better than Dan." She has not publicly accused him of wrongdoing.

Amid the online backlash, Bynes has remained focused on her personal recovery and well-being. Earlier this month, she shared an optimistic update on TikTok about her weight loss journey, revealing she had shed 20 pounds using Ozempic injections after an initial setback with the pill form. "I'm so excited... I hope to lose about 15 more pounds to feel skinny and cute," she said, signaling a continued emphasis on health following years of public struggles with mental health and conservatorship battles, which ended in 2022.
