On Saturday, Bayern responded emphatically to their recent Champions League setback by securing a dramatic 3–1 home victory over FC St. Pauli at the Allianz Arena.
St. Pauli struck first through a quick early goal after a turnover in midfield. But Bayern — eager to bounce back — found an equalizer just before halftime through Raphaël Guerreiro.
Despite a sluggish first half in creating clear chances, Bayern fought their way into the contest with a number of strong second-half substitutions. The breakthrough came deep into stoppage time when Luis Díaz hammered home a winner in the 90+4′ minute, sending the home crowd into raptures.
With this result, Bayern maintain their unbeaten record in the Bundesliga for the 2025–26 season. Under coach Vincent Kompany, the team showed character and resilience to overcome a shaky start and preserve their lead at the top of the table.
