Tottenham Hotspur suffered a disappointing defeat this evening as they were beaten 2–1 by Fulham in their Premier League clash. Fulham made a blistering start, taking the lead within the first few minutes through Kenny Tete, whose effort deflected into the net. Moments later, Harry Wilson doubled the advantage after capitalising on an error from the Spurs goalkeeper.
Tottenham responded in the second half when Mohammed Kudus produced a superb finish into the top corner after receiving a pass from Lucas Bergvall, reducing the deficit to 2–1. Despite applying heavy pressure and going close on several occasions — including a header cleared off the line — Spurs were unable to find an equaliser before the final whistle.
Following this defeat, Tottenham will now turn their attention to their next fixture against Newcastle United. Fulham, buoyed by their impressive win, will prepare for their upcoming match against Crystal Palace.
