Nollywood actress Anita Joseph has officially announced the end of her five-year marriage to hypeman and comedian Fisayo Michael Olagunju, better known as MC Fish. The confirmation came on December 23, 2025, via an emotional Instagram post, putting an end to months of swirling rumors about their relationship.
The couple, who tied the knot in a glamorous ceremony on February 14, 2020, were once celebrated for their public displays of affection and lively social media presence. They often shared glimpses of their life together, earning admiration from fans who saw them as a power couple in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
However, cracks began to appear earlier in 2025. Rumors of trouble in paradise surfaced as far back as November, with reports alleging infidelity, domestic violence, substance abuse issues on MC Fish's part, and heartbreaking personal losses for Anita, including a miscarriage and a stillbirth. Despite these speculations, Anita initially remained silent or cryptic, once assuring fans she was "doing fine." MC Fish also stayed mum, leading many to hope the couple was privately resolving their issues.
