Arsenal picked up a 2–0 win over Brentford today at the Emirates Stadium.
The opening goal came in the 11th minute when Mikel Merino rose highest from a delivery by Ben White to head Arsenal in front.
Despite Brentford’s pressure — including a near-miss when Kevin Schade struck the bar — the hosts held firm through the second half.
In stoppage time, Bukayo Saka sealed the victory after converting a pass from Merino, restoring Arsenal’s five-point advantage at the top of the table.
The win extends Arsenal’s run of home successes and reinforces their strong head‑to‑head record against Brentford — underlining their credentials in the title race.
