Arteta: Havertz Needs Time to Recover from Knee Injury

Mikel Arteta has given an update on Kai Havertz's injury ahead of Arsenal's weekend match against Everton, stating that the German international is making progress but needs more time. 

"Matter of weeks. Let's see how it evolves in the next few weeks. He's doing really well, he's doing stuff on the pitch, but I think he needs some time," Arteta said.

Havertz has been out since the opening game of the season with a knee injury and has faced setbacks in his recovery. Arsenal are hoping he returns in early to mid-January, possibly for the FA Cup match against Portsmouth on January 11.
