Former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has attracted attention online after images began circulating of him wearing an Egypt national team shirt with the No. 10, reportedly while watching Mohamed Salah during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. 

The shirt number is closely associated with Salah, who captains Egypt and remains a central figure in their campaign.

The timing of the circulating images aligns with an important tournament run for Salah. The Egyptian star has already made headlines at AFCON 2025, where he scored a dramatic 91st-minute winner against Zimbabwe, sealing a 2–1 victory and becoming the first Egyptian player to score in five consecutive editions of the tournament.

 His late strike confirmed his status as Egypt’s driving force at a time when the competition is fierce and expectations are high. Salah’s performances continued to inspire Egypt as he converted a penalty in a tense 1–0 win over South Africa, a result that secured the Pharaohs’ place in the knockout stages despite playing with ten men.
