Blessing CEO is over the moon as charges against her partner, IVD, have been dropped. The Lagos court discharged and acquitted IVD on December 15, 2025, bringing an end to a four-year ordeal filled with tears and false narratives.

In an emotional Instagram post, Blessing CEO praised Nigeria's justice system, saying, "It ended in praise. Four years of tears and false narratives. Nigeria's justice system still works. I am proud of my country." She congratulated IVD, telling him, "You can now have your life back".

The auto dealer was arrested in August at the airport over a domestic violence case linked to his late wife, Bimbo. Blessing CEO had insisted there was no travel ban on him and accused some individuals of bullying and harassment.

Blessing CEO also used the moment to issue a strong relationship warning, advising people to leave unhealthy marriages or relationships. "If marriage or relationship no dey work, please run, don't wait for anybody to pass. Run," she urged.

IVD's late wife, Bimbo, passed away in October 2022, and he was facing charges of manslaughter and related offenses. The court's decision has sparked mixed reactions online, with some congratulating IVD and others revisiting the controversies surrounding the case.

Blessing CEO and IVD had been in a relationship since 2023 and got engaged in April 2024. The couple is now looking forward to a quieter life together, focusing on healing and rebuilding.
