Nollywood actress Queen Mercy Atang had a close call when the POP ceiling in her sitting room suddenly collapsed, narrowly missing her sister and nanny. The incident happened early Wednesday morning, and Queen Mercy credits divine intervention for saving her household.
According to her Instagram post, Queen Mercy had just returned home around 4 a.m. after picking up a friend from the airport. Her sister and nanny were still awake, sewing, when the ceiling gave way at 7:58 a.m. Luckily, they were alert and managed to run for their lives.
This isn't the first time Queen Mercy's home has experienced a ceiling collapse. Just weeks ago, her garage POP ceiling also fell, leaving her concerned about her family's safety. She's now planning to relocate to a safer space.
