In Borno, Tinubu inaugurated key projects, including the terminal extension of the General Muhammadu Buhari International Airport, and attended the wedding ceremony of Sadeeq Ali Modu Sheriff, son of former Governor Ali Modu Sheriff. He also commissioned schools, electric buses, taxis, and tricycles procured by the Borno Government to boost education and transportation.
From Maiduguri, Tinubu proceeded to Bauchi to pay a condolence visit to the family of the late Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, a renowned Islamic cleric who passed away on November 27. The President will then head to Lagos, where he'll spend the end-of-year holidays and attend the Eyo Festival on December 27, honoring his late mother, Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji, and former governors.
