Ryan Gravenberch Scores & Pays Tribute to Jota

Ryan Gravenberch scored the opening goal for Liverpool against Wolves and celebrated with a tribute to the late Diogo Jota. Gravenberch's goal came in the 40th minute, and he dedicated the celebration to Jota, who had passed away earlier this year. The atmosphere at Anfield was emotional, with both teams paying tribute to Jota before the match.

Liverpool's manager, Arne Slot, had praised Jota ahead of the game, saying, "It's not my place to tell them where they should look for comfort... but I can only hope that the feeling of love and affection that Diogo still generates brings them some solace". Jota's sons were also mascots for the game, adding to the emotional occasion.

Gravenberch's goal was followed by another from Florian Wirtz, putting Liverpool 2-0 up at half-time. The match is ongoing, but the tribute to Jota has been a poignant moment so far.
