Arteta Confirms Calafiori & Mosquera out for Bournemouth Clash

Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Riccardo Calafiori and Cristhian Mosquera will miss Arsenal's trip to Bournemouth on Saturday due to injuries. Calafiori, who had been struggling with a muscle issue, pulled out late against Brighton, while Mosquera has been dealing with an ankle injury since early December and is expected to be out until mid-January.

Declan Rice, another key player, is also a doubt for the match with knee swelling still an issue. Arteta mentioned that Rice's situation is improving but won't rush him back, prioritizing his well-being for the rest of the season.

The Gunners will be without three defenders, forcing Arteta to reshuffle his lineup. Myles Lewis-Skelly is likely to start at left-back, with Jurrien Timber and Piero Hincapié covering in central defense.
