Mane's Late Strike Sends Senegal to AFCON Final

Senegal has secured a spot in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 final, defeating Egypt 1-0 in a tense semi-final match.

Sadio Mane scored the decisive goal, slashing home 12 minutes from full-time, sending the Lions of Teranga into the final 🎉.

The match was a repeat of the 2021 AFCON final, which Senegal won on penalties. This time, Senegal dominated the game, with Egypt failing to have a single shot on target or forcing a corner before conceding. Mane's goal was a result of a fortuitous deflection, and his shot from the edge of the area was worthy of winning any match.

Senegal's victory marks their third AFCON final appearance, having won the tournament once before in 2021. They will face either Nigeria or Morocco in Sunday's final
