Arsenal made the perfect start to pre-season with a convincing 8-0 win overBoreham.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang got a first-half Hat-trick after just 16 minutes to continue his fine form for the Gunners.
Reiss Nelson, Alexandre Lacazette, Eddie Nketiah, Jeff Reine-Adelaide and Henrikh Mkhitaryan were also on the scoresheet.
Sokratis Papastathopoulos made his debut in central defence while Matteo Guendouzi came on in the second half.
Five Things We Learnt From The Match!

1. Four At The Back:-
After playing five under Arsene Wenger at the back, it appears Unai Emery will switch to a back-four.
In the second half, Arsenal had three centre-backs on the pitch but it was Calum Chambers who was pushed in central midfield in a holding role.
With so many defensive players available, Emery has plenty of options at his disposal.

2.New Signings:-
Of Arsenal's five signing so far this summer, only two were included in the squad and it was Sokratis who played from the start partnered by Greek compatriot Konstantinos Mavropanos in defence.
Also, Matteo Guendouzi was quietly efficient in his late cameo.

3.Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Hat-trick:-
Aubameyang made a major impression for Arsenal following his arrival in January from Borrusia Dortmund and looks set to be a key player for Arsenal next season.
His first goal was a stunning effort from outside the box which you can watch in the video below, for his second he headed into the net from the far post.
And for his Hat-trick, Aubameyang scored from the penalty spot.
4.Maitland-Niles impressive
Maitland-Niles was name-checked as one of the players Emery was a fan of and he would have impressed his new manager again.
The Midfielder was quick into tackles, burst forward regularly and plenty of energy in the match.

5.Aaron Ramsey captain:-
Emery made it clear before the game that he wanted five captains to emerge from his squad.
Of the outfield candidates, with Laurent Koscielny injured long-term, Ramsey is a leading contender to be skipper.
Contract talks are ongoing and Emery will be desperate to keep hold of the Welshman.
