La Liga giants Atletico Madrid have tonight confirmed a deal with Serie A outfit Inter Milan over the sale of defender Sime Vrsaljko.
Italian giants Inter Milan have been the side most persistently-touted as a potential destination, with the Nerazzurri having long been pushing Atletico to accept a loan offer.
And the Milanese outfit have tonight finally gotten their man, with Atletico having confirmed that Vrsaljko is set to make the move to the San Siro on loan for next season, with an option to make the transfer permanent next summer
Just minutes after confirming Vrsaljko’s departure, Atletico subsequently announced his replacement at the club, in the form of highly-regarded PSV stopper Santiago Arias
