James, Robben, Muller models Bayern Munich new third kit made from recycled ocean plastic

 BAYERN MUNICH have launched their new adidas third kit.... made entirely from recycled ocean plastic.


The Bundesliga giants have revealed their new "steel grey" strip for 2018-19, in association with Parley Ocean Plastic.

Bayern have now followed the likes of Juventus and Real Madrid in sporting a kit made from recycled plastic for this year.

Arjen Robben, Thomas Muller and James Rodriguez are just three big names to have shown-off the innovative strip.


Senior design director at adidas, Jurgen Rank, said: "With every kit we create we are committed to constantly innovating while also drawing on the unrivalled heritage of adidas football.

"Our partnership with Parley for the Oceans is allowing us to push this innovation even further than ever.

"[We're] producing kits that set new standards in sustainability while also allowing players to perform at their very best.

"We are delighted to bring this innovation to FC Bayern, one of the world's most iconic clubs."
