CHELSEA and Liverpool look set to battle it out for Lilian Thuram's son Khephren this summer, according to reports.
The Premier League giants could secure a cut-price deal for the midfielder, 17, because he has not yet signed a professional contract with Monaco.
Khephren Thuram has also been linked to Italian giants Juventus
According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea and Liverpool are both monitoring the France Under-18 international.
The source suggests that Italian giants Juventus are also keeping tabs on the midfielder.
But Monaco will not be looking to offload him as he is one of the most promising young prospects in their academy.
He made his senior debut for the Ligue 1 side during a Champions League defeat to Atletico Madrid in November.
