Robert Lewandowski, 30, could be seen trudging off the bus in a tracksuit along with the rest of Niko Kovac's squad.
The Bundesliga champs will be without Jerome Boateng, Leon Goretzka, Arjen Robben, Corentin Tolisso and Thomas Muller for the game at Anfield with the five all either injured or suspended.
Bayern just wanted to stretch their legs and do some late tactical work ahead of the game.
Kovac, 47, is already under pressure with Borussia Dortmund leading the Bundesliga table after Bayern won the last six titles in a row.

Kovac denied that his side are the favourites and reckons it will be a close tie across two legs.
He said: "I don't know if there is a favourite or not.
"In the Bundesliga we have played against two teams, Dortmund and Leverkusen, who have had a similar playing style and also the right quality, but this is a higher level.
"We have to find the solutions. We have got those solutions, but that depends on what happens on the pitch on the night.
"We probably won't see 0-0. I can't imagine that."
