Arsenal host BATE Borisov on Thursday night with their Europa League hopes hanging in the balance.

Last week's embarrassing 1-0 defeat in Belarus has given Unai Emery's side it all to do ahead of the second leg in north London.

Should they fail to turn things round, it would arguably be the club's worst ever European defeat, but despite that Emery is confident his players can get the result they need.

"We are going to play another 90 minutes next week and I’m sure it’s going to be different," said Arsenal's head coach, after the first leg defeat.

"Our big opportunity is next week at home. Today is not the result we wanted. We deserved more but they worked for this. Next week is going to be different with our supporters."

Arsenal were without a number of players in Belarus for the first game, with Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey and Sokratis all left at home.

Ozil missed out as he had only just returned to training following illness according to Emery, while Sokratis (ankle) and Ramsey (knee) also stayed in England.
