Jurgen Klopp has revealed that both Jordan Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum are doubts to face Bournemouth this weekend.
As reported on the club’s official website, Klopp was unable to put a time frame on the pair’s return after they missed the draw away to West Ham on Monday night.
Gini and Hendo, both would’ve played and then they cannot play. That’s not too cool, I don’t know how long it will take. That’s the situation, that was always clear. It’s a long season and you have to deal with the situation.
After both featuring against Leicester, neither were deemed fit enough to face West Ham as the injuries begin to pile up at Anfield.
Henderson has been struggling with a muscle issue, while Wijnaldum has a minor knee injury.
The duo’s absence is another blow for Liverpool, who have seen their title credentials questioned after two back-to-back draws in the Premier League.
Eddie Howe’s side travel to Anfield on Saturday.
