Pep Guardiola admitted he is very demanding of Leroy Sane because he wants him to reach his potential after the winger's fine display against Manchester United.
Manchester City star was picked for the bench again on Wednesday night after a run of being left out of the starting line-up for big games, with Bernardo Silva and Raheem Sterling often selected ahead of him.
But Sane replaced Fernandinho in the second-half and scored the second goal as City picked up three points at Old Trafford.

There have been suggestions that City are struggling to tie Sane down to a new deal with two years left on his current contract
'At half-time Fernandinho had little muscular problems in both legs. I thought to put Leroy in maybe later but the way he came in was incredible,' Guardiola said after the game.
'In that position he made our game quicker. Leroy attacking the byline is a special player.
'I am so demanding of him and sometimes I like to be critical of him.
'We know his potential and we want to help him to be more consistent in his game.
'Not just in his actions with the ball, without too, and today he was so good and played at a high level.'
City now just need to win their last three games this campaign to retain the Premier League title
