Kourtney Kardashian’s Fans Praise Her for Showing Off Her Stretch Marks in Latest Photo

Kourtney Kardashian is 40 and fabulous. Despite a little bit of trouble coming to terms with turning 40, the mom of three is owning it in a major way.

Fans have already noticed one difference that indicates Kourtney is starting a more body-positive chapter of her life. Poosh, Kourtney’s new lifestyle website, shared a picture of Kourtney on Instagram wearing a black bathing suit. She looks stunning, but fans noticed a detail that was left in the photo: You can very clearly see stretch marks on Kourtney’s hips and rear.

A number of fans commented on the fact that Kourtney’s stretch marks weren’t edited out.

They praised her for going a more natural route. “Thank you so much for not editing out your stretch marks!!” one follower commented. Kourtney replied to the comment, writing, “I love my little stripes.”

It’s no secret that the Kardashians have had quite a few run-ins with bad Photoshopping before, so it’s awesome to see Kourtney authentically embrace her body. It’s just one more sign that the mom and reality star has really come into her own.

Kourtney believes Poosh has helped her do just that, as she explained to Glamour.

“We used to do all of our projects together, so when we started splitting up and doing our own, I think I felt like, Well what’s my thing?” she recalled. “Everybody would put this pressure on me, even though I really just wanted to focus on being a mom. I didn’t want to take on something else. But once I really took the time to do it, once I figured out when the time was right for me — and that it really fit into my life without overwhelming me — then it became fulfilling.”
