Everton have confirmed that Andre Gomes has suffered a fracture dislocation to his right ankle and will undergo surgery on Monday.
The midfielder suffered an apparently severe injury in Tottenham game as Son Heung-min's tackle from behind led to Gomes' collision with Serge Aurier.
He was stretchered off after having some urgent medical treatment on the pitch.
This kind of injuries usually takes from nine months to a whole year until full recovery.
