Former Chelsea midfielder, Juan Mata has addressed an emotional message to his teammates at Manchester United in his autobiography.
Mata's autobiography, entitled Suddenly A Footballer: My Story, was released earlier in the season but it seems as though many of his teammates are only just getting hold of a copy.
ManchesterUnited players took to Instagram on Friday to share messages that Mata had penned to them inside the front cover.
In the copy he sent to Shaw, Mata wrote: "To my friend Luke, you can be the best left-back in the Premier League, believe it!"
Addressing Jesse Lingard, Mata wrote: "To my friend Jesse, keep that positive vibe on and off the pitch!"
Writing to Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Mata said: "I've never seen anyone tackle as good as you do! You've started so well for us. Keep going and enjoy the journey!"
To Daniel James, Mata wrote: "What a great start for us you had! Keep going. You will be a great success! You are a great guy!" while Victor Lindelof received a message that said: "To my friend Victor, 'Iceman', my centre-back. Thanks for finding those great passes to me on the pitch and for being such a good guy. I love Sweden!"
