Barcelona's academy popularly known as 'La Masia' is the most popular football academy.
Incase you don't know, the academy has produced superstars like Lionel Messi, Xavi,Andres Iniesta, Gerard Pique, Sergio Busquets, Cesc Fabregas, Pepe Reina, Thaigo Motta and many others that gone on to become stars somewhere else.
The latest on the spotlight is Adama Traore . The Wolves winger is best known for terrorizing premier league defenses with his pace and power on the right wing.
Born in Spain to Malian parents, Traore joined the Barcelona academy at the age of 8 in 2004 and in 2013 he was promoted to the B team where his performances also saw him called up to the main squad.
Traore made just 4 appearances and scored 1 goal in a Copa Del Rey match against CD Huesca which ended 8-0 in Barca's favor.
He left Barcelona in 2015 as a 19-year old to join Aston Villa, before moving to Middlesbrough and then Wolves.
The winger got a goal and an assist as Wolverhampton came from ten goals behind to defeat Manchester City 3-2 on Friday night.
In the earlier fixtures at the Etihad Stadium, Wolverhampton defeated Manchester City 2-0 as Traore got the two goals .
