Man Utd travel to Burnley for their final Premier League fixture of 2019 on Saturday.

Manchester United's players convened at Carrington on Saturday morning ahead of their Premier League meeting with Burnley at Turf Moor.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side can finish the year within a point of fourth-placed Chelsea if other results go their way during the top-flight's final round of 2019 fixtures.

United are set to be without Scott McTominay after he sustained suspected ligament damage in the Boxing Day win over Newcastle. The Scot sported a glum expression as he was driven into the Reds' training complex for a second successive day.

McTominay's injury could pave the way for Paul Pogba to make his first start in three months after back-to-back substitute appearances against Watford and Newcastle.

Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard carpooled to training in Rashford's Mercedes. The 22-year-old Rashford has scored 18 goals for club and country this season.

United go into the game having lost just one of their last 10 meaningful games and Solskjaer will feel bullish about his side's chances in Lancashire after the demolition job his forwards carried out on Newcastle.

Anthony Martial's brace against the Magpies sandwiched Mason Greenwood and Rashford strikes. The trio have 32 United goals between them in all competitions since the start of the season.

Aside from McTominay, United's injury list is relatively short, with Diogo Dalot, Marcos Rojo, Timothy Fosu-Mensah and Eric Bailly Solskjaer's only concerns going into 2020.

Dalot has barely featured this term but is expected to come back into the reckoning after an impressive display in the U19s' friendly win over AC Milan earlier in the month.

Rojo's injury is unspecified and he has not featured since November, while Fosu-Mensah and Bailly are continuing with their rehabilitation after serious knee injuries.
