Manchester City have been dealt huge blow following the latest injury.

It has been learnt that Raheem Sterling will miss the game against West Ham on Sunday with a hamstring injury.

Reports gathered revealed that Sterling suffered the injury during City's 2-0 defeat at Tottenham.

The English international might miss the Champions League first leg against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu on February 26.

City said on Twitter: "Raheem Sterling will miss our game against West Ham this weekend after scans revealed he has suffered damage to his left hamstring. Everyone at City wishes Sterling a full and speedy recovery."

Recall that on 14 July, Sterling joined Manchester City on a five-year contract for a fee of around £44m.

For David Moyes side, Felipe Anderson and Yarmolenko are back in training. But the pair are expected to miss the game, as it will come too early.

Manchester City will be hoping to close the gap on Liverpool despite the 22 points lead by the Reds.

The Reds will be on break as Premier League set for it's first ever winter break.
