Arsenal midfielder, Mesut Ozil has handed a good news to his fans following the birth of his child.
The midfielder revealed he welcomed his daughter Eda with his wife Amine gave birth.
The Arsenal star has been expecting his first child for some weeks.
It was reported by Metro that Ozil took permission to miss the club's Europa League defeat against Olympiacos several weeks ago.
Ozil said on social media: "Thank God our daughter "Eda" was born healthy. God willing us to be a good son to his environment and all humanity"
Mesut Ozil has returned to form following the appointment of Mikel Arteta.
The German fell out of favour with Unai Emery last season and wasn't included in he match day squad.
Until Arteta came in two months again, which has seen Ozil called back to action.

Özil began his senior career with Schalke 04 in 2006 and made 30 appearances with no goal recorded.
After two seasons he joined Werder Bremen for €5 million. With 71 appearances and scored 13 goals in the league.
In 2009-10 season, he was number one in assists chat in major European and domestic competitions, with 25 assists.
Real Madrid signed Ozil for €15 million in 2010. He played 105 games in league, with 17 assists in a league, as well as 19 goals.
In 2012, Özil moved to England to join Premier League side Arsenal. Arsene Wenger singed the "assist king" in a then club-record deal worth £42.5 million (€50 million).
