Mesut Ozil has picked out his favourite goal that he has scored for Arsenal in a message on social media.

Despite being better known for his
creative prowess and unselfishly providing assists for his teammates, the 31-year-old has scored some spectacular goals during his time at the Emirates.

The German midfielder has netted 44 goals in 253 appearances since moving to north London from Real Madrid in 2013.

And Ozil has now named his personal favourite from his time in a red and white shirt.

Taking to his Instagram account, Ozil uploaded an animated video of his goal against Ludogorets in the Champions League group stage in November 2014.

The late goal sealed a 3-2 win for Arsen Wenger's side against the Bulgarians, and saw them progress to the last-16 stage.

Ludogorets had taken a surprise two-goal lead within 15 minutes, through Jonathan Cafu and Claudiu Keseru.

The caption on his post read: "Found this one today. My favourite goal of my career so far."

But Granit Xhaka and Olivier Giroud responded for the Gunners before half- time, before Ozil capped off the comeba with a sensational solo effort with thre minutes remaining.

Ozil ran onto a Mohamed Elneny through ball before chipping the ball over goalkeeper Borjan’s head and dummyin his way past two defenders. The former
German international then slid the ball into the empty net.
