Meanwhile, Arsenal's goalkeeper Bernd Leno was stretched off after a collusion with Neal Maupay. The Germanshot stopper appears to have landed awkwardly on his feet

The camera spot Matteo Guendouzi grabbed Neal Maupay by the neck and having some altercations.

Apparently, the goal scorer, Maupay has come out to open up on what he told Guendouzi after he scored the winning goal in the 90th minutes.

As quoted by BT Sport, ‘I mean he was talking the whole game, but was saying really bad things.

‘I don’t want to say what he said because I could be in trouble. It was in French because he is French.'

The results sees Arsenal's chance of finishing in the top four slipping away as the Gunners are tenth on the league standing.

Maupay added: ‘So when I scored I just needed to say, ‘listen, that’s what happens when you talk too much on the pitch’.’

Mikel Arteta has already lost Granit Xhaka and Pablo Mari to injuries on Wednesday night defeat to Manchester City.
