Arsenal defeated Mk Dons 1-4 as Saliba played at the back alongside Rob Holding.
Many fans were impressed with what they saw.
Mikel Arteta has heaped praises on the youngster, stating that he has been working very hard.
“He's been training really hard,” our head coach said. “He stayed here in London to do a better preparation and you can tell that he looks ready.
“Obviously there are a lot of things that are new for him and he will need to adapt but certainly he has the right qualities for this football club and as well the right attitude to keep improving and showing the player he can be for our future.”
Recall that Saliba was signed last summer from Saint Etienne but was loaned back to the French club.
