It's been gathered that the UEFA Champions League positional awards shortlist has been revealed.
The club's European competition came to an end in July after months of suspension due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Bayern Munich clinched the trophy in stunning fashion as Hansi Flick side were unbeaten all the competition.
The German club had to knock out top teams such as Chelsea, Barcelona and defeated Paris Saint-Germain in the final in Lisbon to claim victory.
It was a treble winning season for Hansi Flick side who had claimed two domestic trophies; the Bundesliga title and DFB-Pokal Cup in Germany and crowned it with the Champions League.
Meanwhile, it wasn't a surprise that Champions League champions, Bayern Munich dominate the 12-man list with seven players nominated across the four categories.
Bayern Munich goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer seems favourite as he's up for the best goalkeeper award, against PSG's Keylor Navas and Atletico Madrid's Jan Oblak.
Also, Bayern Munich trio, David Alaba, Alphonso Davies, and Joshua Kimmich dominated the defender list.
In the midfield, Bayern Munich duo of Thomas Muller and Thiago Alcantara are up against Manchester City star, Kevin De Bruyne.
For the forward position, Robert Lewandowski of Bayern Munich is the favourite as he finished top scorer of the competition, but will battle from PSG duo Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.
Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have failed to make the final shortlist for UEFA's positional awards next month.
Recall that both Messi and Ronaldo had their devastating Champions League campaign as Barcelona were humiliated by Bayern Munich in a 8-2 thrashing. While Juventus were knocked out in round of 16 by Lyon despite Ronaldo scoring twice in the second leg.
