Mikel Arteta guided the club win the FA Cup and Community Shield and overseeing two wins at the start of this season.
'He brings that atmosphere that everyone feels like being at home,' he told BBC Sport. 'We have to do homework as well!'
While Arsenal have a handful of FA Cups added to their trophy room in recent years, they are without a Premier League title since 2004, and the 31-year-old said the team were intent on bringing back the glory days.
'I think the mentality around the club is going very, very well and everyone is going on the same way. That's really important. The goal is to bring the club back to where it belongs.'
Aubameyang has two goals in all competitions this season as he hopes to continue his electric form from the last campaign - which saw him net 29 goals in total, helping to deliver the FA Cup against Chelsea by scoring twice in the final.
