It's been gathered that the venue for the international friendly match between Nigeria and Algeria in Austria, has been changed.
Super Eagles of Nigeria were scheduled to face Algeria at the Jacques Lemmans Arena.
It's now been moved to the Worthersee Stadium in Klagenfurt, according to the request of the Algeria Football Federation
According to report, the new venue is a 30,000 capacity, compared to the initial venue in the southern Austrian state of Carinthia which can only host 2,420 spectators.
“It is at the request of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) that this change takes place in order to allow the two teams to evolve in a larger enclosure and on an excellent lawn” , a local official was quoted by DZ Football.
The date and time for the clash, scheduled for Friday at 7.30 p.m.
After the game, Nigeria will face Tunisia in another friendly at the Jacques Lemans Arena next week Tuesday.
